Hello and welcome to IowaPilots.com!

This site was born to fulfill a destiny. That is to provide a place for pilots (new, old, aspiring, students, and everything in between) to get information about Iowa aviation. The idea to build this site came to me when I searched for more than an hour trying to find flying clubs in Iowa, and websites for Iowa aviators and came up rather empty. Another part the destiny of this site is to provide a community for any Iowan interested or involved in aviation to get information and share information with each other. I would also like to use this site as a place for FBOs, Flying Clubs, and other Iowa aviation groups to advertise services and events.

• A list of flying/aero clubs in Iowa
• A list of flight training centers, FBO, and flying clubs with CFIs willing to take on new student pilots.
• A forum for aviation discussions including, but not limited to aviation news and events, training Q & A, and general hangar talk
